Hops
The farm started growing hops in 2013 with about 1,000 producing plants and is in the process of steady expansion to meet demand. We have a strong focus on sustainable farming, including integrated pest management, recycled, composted manure, water conservation practices, and local sourcing of materials.
We are proud to offer our top quality locally grown hops to craft brewers and homebrew retailers with a passion for delicious taste and aroma.
We also offer on and off site harvesting and processing services with our mobile harvester and oast.
Current hop varieties include Cascade, Nugget, Chinook, CTZ, and Crystal. 2023 will add Sorachi Ace, Bitter Gold, Canadian Red Vine, Teamaker, and two locally bred hop trials from NC State's breeding program.
